Desi Komarechka is an abstract artist who works with oil paint and mixed media. She has engaged with art ever since she can remember. She has a formal education in fine art completed with a diploma in fine art. Desi loves exploring new techniques and media which inspire her to create something new.

She creates from her imagination and get inspired by music, colours, shapes, and natural beauty found in our everyday lives. “When I create artwork I forget about the environment by which I am surrounded and completely submerge until I complete the given artwork”, she says. “Art matters to me especially when there is positive impact on my art’s spectators.” She uses a variety of colours and is not afraid to say that the passion created by art can positively contribute to heightening the spirits of viewers and that it is food for the soul.
